The OnePlus Nord marks the firm’s second mid-range phone, coming roughly five years after the OnePlus X‘s release. A lot has changed in that time, including the firm’s approach to pricing.
So what does that mean for the Nord, then? We’ve got you covered with our rundown of OnePlus Nord pricing, release dates, and availability.

OnePlus Nord release date

The OnePlus Nord was officially launched on July 21, and will be available on the same day via an online pop-up event at 10:30AM ET. Miss out on the pop-up event? Then general sales kick off on August 4.
General pre-orders went live on July 15, although the firm also held extremely limited pre-order rounds in the weeks prior to this date.

OnePlus confirmed in the weeks prior to the Nord’s launch that the phone would debut in Europe and India first. So what should Indian customers expect in terms of all-important pricing then? Check out the list below.
  • OnePlus Nord with 6GB RAM+64GB storage: Rs 24,999
  • OnePlus Nord with 8GB RAM+128GB storage: Rs 27,999
  • OnePlus Nord with 12GB RAM+256GB storage: Rs 29,999
It’s worth noting that the 6GB/64GB variant is currently limited to India only. But you might want to think twice about grabbing this model due to the lack of microSD expansion in general. Nevertheless, the Nord will be available via Amazon India and the OnePlus India website.

The budget-focused phone is confirmed for a UK launch, following in the footsteps of the OnePlus 8 series earlier this year. Here’s how the retail price stacks up for the various models.
  • OnePlus Nord with 8GB RAM+128GB storage: £379
  • OnePlus Nord with 12GB RAM+256GB storage: £469
In any event, the new phone will be available early via John Lewis on July 31. But general sales kick off on August 4 via the same retailer, Three, the OnePlus UK website, and Amazon.

OnePlus Nord
After years of only releasing top-tier flagships, OnePlus is back in the mid-range category with the OnePlus Nord. It cuts some corners, but we think many people will really like this phone — especially because of its £379 price tag.

OnePlus Nord price and availability in Europe

The new mid-ranger will indeed be available in Europe, with the phone listed for pre-order in 27 different countries. You can check them all out in the list below.
  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Bulgaria
  • Croatia
  • Cyprus
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Estonia
  • Finland
  • France
  • Germany
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Lithuania
  • Luxembourg
  • Latvia
  • Malta
  • Netherlands
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Romania
  • Slovenia
  • Slovakia
  • Spain
  • Sweden
Now that we’ve got specific European countries out of the way, what should you expect to pay for the phone in Europe? Check out the pricing below.
  • OnePlus Nord with 8GB RAM+128GB storage: €399
  • OnePlus Nord with 12GB RAM+256GB storage: €499
Yep, you’ll need to splash out €100 extra for double the storage and 4GB extra RAM. Do we really need 12GB of RAM in a mid-range phone though? In any event, this price puts it within spitting distance of the 128GB OnePlus 7T (currently €539).
It’s also interesting to note that India is getting the best price for the OnePlus Nord, even when you remove the 64GB model from the equation. The 128GB model is available for ~$375 in India, while the UK and Europe are paying the equivalent of ~$481 and ~$456 respectively. Presumably taxes and the Make in India program are the main reasons for this discrepancy.

OnePlus Nord price and availability in the US

Unfortunately, the OnePlus Nord won’t be available in the US at large. So you’ll need to wait for the next phone in the series, OnePlus says.
There is a little consolation, however, as the company confirmed that the phone will be available in North America as part of a limited beta testing program. We’re not sure what this entails though, so you might not want to get too excited yet.
